Meet the team – Melissa Dunstan

When did you join Busy01 Consulting and First Class Accounts - Ovens & Murray? 

September 2015

What’s your day-to-day role? 

Weekly and fortnightly payrolls for about 6 clients; coding bank transactions using bank feeds, basic reconciliations, processing monthly and quarterly Superannuation.

What skills do you need for that role? 

Basic training as required depending on tasks I’m asked to complete. Currently studying Cert 4 in Bookkeeping to be able to expand tasks currently undertaken.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job? 

Being able to work remotely from sunny Cairns.

And the most challenging? 

Finding the time to complete by Cert 4 in Bookkeeping so I can expand my role. 

What would you be doing if you hadn’t decided to follow this career path?

More hours in my other roles as Mum to Molly (4) and Addison (1) and at my Events and Strategy role at AFL Cairns.

How do you relax when you’re not at work? 

I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family.

At which store would you like to max-out your credit card? 

Flight Centre.

What are three things still left on your bucket list? 

1. Go on a cruise boat holiday for at least 10 days
2. Be the best Mum I can
3. De-clutter my house…..
