What’s your day-to-day role?
I'm a part-time bookkeeper. I predominantly work on site for a client.
What skills do you need for that role?
Attention to detail, problem solving, flexibility, and initiative.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Seeing our client enjoy the reason they started their business and the role we play in that. Taking the stress of financial organisation away from then and enabling our client to focus on their core role.
And the most challenging?
Meeting tight deadlines in regard to ATO compliance.
What would you be doing if you hadn’t decided to follow this career path?
I would love to be an architect or a florist.
How do you relax when you’re not at work?
Spending time with my family. Usually at a football game or at the river in Summer.
At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?
Adairs. It can be dangerous for my credit card when a sale is on.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
1. Renovate an old house in central Albury.
2. Take my kids on an overseas holiday.
3. live near the beach after the kids leave home.
