When did you join Busy01 Consulting and First Class Accounts - Ovens & Murray?
I joined the First Class Accounts - Ovens & Murray team in October 2017.
What’s your day-to-day role?
My day to day role is bookkeeping and providing technical support to clients with job management software. As well as providing education and training to clients and their staff within the job management space.
What skills do you need for that role?
Interpersonal communication skills, ability to work as part of a dynamic team, ability t think crucially, time management or time balancing skills, ability to prioritise and adjust to different working conditions/environments. Analytical skills. Ability to job share.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
I love being able to see the change and growth in small businesses and see them benefit from the efficiencies we have been able to put in place. Whether it is automating customer and supplier invoicing or implementation of a job management or work flow system.
I enjoy seeing the business cash flow turn around and see the reduction of stress for the business owners and their staff. It makes everything we do worth it.
And the most challenging?
Sometimes the ability to multitask can be a challenge. Especially in our busy periods.
What would you be doing if you hadn’t decided to follow this career path?
I would be working a medical emergency retrieval nurse with one of the major children's hospitals in Australia.
How do you relax when you’re not at work?
I love reading, cooking and playing the cello.
At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?
Probably at a gourmet food store or shoe store.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
1. To see the northern lights.
2. Travel to Italy.
3. Go on a safari.
